Open https://my.garmin.com/ and log into your Garmin account.
Next, plug in your Garmin Nuvi apparatus on a computer or notebook.
In the Garmin account, click on add a device & select your GPS Nuvi from the list.
Follow onscreen instructions to finish Garmin Nuvi device registration.
Note: Some of those map updates ask that you supply a product key that's present together with the document.
Save the free GPS map update file on your Windows or Mac system.
Last, delete and delete the GMA's file from the device folder using the newest updates file in a different folder.
Download and install Garmin Express after fulfilling system prerequisites
